We are excited to offer a variety of camps this year, designed for young children from 4 years to 11 years, who wish to explore and expand their knowledge and skills in an unforgettable Camp experience.  Our NANO and MEGA Camps run throughout the year for our School community and beyond.  

The Reddam House NANO Camps (4 – 8 years) and MEGA Camps (8 – 11 years) run during the term- time holidays in October, December, February and May.  These camps are run on-site at Reddam House and they offer a fun packed week plus one weekly excursion.  The NANO campers will take part in a variety of events including Academic studies, Creative Arts and Outdoor Adventure.  The MEGA campers do everything the NANO campers do with the additional option of joining our weekly ‘MEGA Challenge’ (additional costs may apply).

As well as our term-time camps, we also run the NANO and MEGA programmes alongside our main camps in Spring and Summer.  The ages for these camps are NANO (4 – 6 years) and MEGA (6 – 8 years).

All of our camps are English speaking and we encourage all campers to converse in English as much as possible.  As  of our NANO and MEGA camps are Day Camps only, offering extended hours from 08.00 – 17.30 each day.

School Facilities and Location 

Reddam House is conveniently located near Wokingham in the English county of Berkshire, a vibrant hub with easy access to London and Oxford.  Housed in a magnificent mansion building, Reddam House boasts some of the county’s best sporting facilities, a 350-seater professional theatre and 125 acres of wood and parkland to explore.

Our NANO and MEGA campers will be entertained throughout the day with tailored activities to their age and ability.

How Does it Work?

Our NANO and MEGA Camp programmes are available for students aged 4 – 11 during term-time holidays, and 4 – 8 during the Spring and Summer.  

These courses run on a weekly basis, following a new and exciting weekly theme.  There is an off-site excursion each Wednesday for all campers.

The NANO Camp activities are different every day and focus around the interests, ages and abilities of the children attending camp.  There may be Academic and Educational Activities (Literacy, Maths and STEAM), Creative Arts (Arts and Crafts, Dance and Drama, Music and Movement) and Outdoor Adventure (Sports, Outdoor Exploration and Play, Wilderness Adventure and RAD).

We encourage all students to engage in team work, play and friendships working on their communication and language skills.

Our Spring and Summer NANO and MEGA Camps will run as one-week programmes open to students aged 4 – 8 years.  The NANO and MEGA Camp offers one-week bookings only and will include all on-site activities plus one weekly excursion.

Nano Camps
 

NANO Day Camp ages 4 to 5 years

The NANO Camp is an exciting, multi-activity programme that promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.  Our NANO Camp programme is a week-long course, and runs from 08.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.  Extended day options from 08.00am to 5.30pm are available.

From structured activities to play and exploration, our NANO Camp is packed with engaging activities designed to build vital foundational skills and encourage social interaction including:

Mega camps
 

MEGA CAMP for ages 6 to 8 years

Our multi-activity MEGA Day Camp is designed to promote physical, cognitive and social development.  The MEGA camp runs from Monday to Friday between 08.30am and 5pm, with extended day options from 08.00am to 5.30pm available.

Learners will enjoy complex activities and embark on a day of exciting off-site excursions – the perfect balance between fun and age-appropriate challenges.

Structured activities guide students through games and workshops that foster teamwork, communication and a sense of discovery:

  • Enhanced Skill Development
  • Adventure and Exploration
  • Social Interaction
  • Activity sessions include:  project-based crafts, themed workshops, physical adventure, outdoor challenges and academic studies including STEAM and literacy.

The MEGA Camp costs £375.00 per week to include all activities, excursion day and lunch each day, plus two additional MEGA Challenge Activities each week.

Camp Details

Term-time camps:  A daily drop in option charged at £50 per day with the option of adding the additional MEGA Challenge per week.  The excursion cost on Wednesday costs £20.00 extra.

Spring and Summer camps:  A weekly camp charged at £330.00 (NANO) or £375.00 (MEGA) for the week.  This is inclusive of all activities, challenges and excursions.

All NANO and MEGA campers will receive a lunch each day as well as mid-morning and mid-afternoon drinks and snacks.

We know the parents need flexibility in booking, so that is why we offer a daily drop in for term-time camps. During the Spring and Summer season it is week only bookings.

NANO and MEGA camps run from Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.00 (extended day options from 08.00 – 17.30).

Excursions

Our weekly excursions link in with our ‘theme for the week’ and have included an ‘Under The Sea’ trip to the Sealife Centre in Brighton, a ‘Make Believe’ trip to Kidzania in London and a ‘Discover and Explore’ trip to the Adventure Play Gardens in Windsor Great Park.
