Our NANO and MEGA Camps offer fun, flexible, and reliable childcare during school holidays – perfect for busy families. Open to children aged 4 to 11, these day-only camps run throughout the year and are a much-loved part of the Reddam House community. 

Camps take place during key term breaks – October, December, February and May – as well as alongside our Spring and Summer Camp programmes. With extended hours from 08:00 to 17:30, they’re designed to support working parents while providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children. 

Camp Options: 

NANO Camp 

Ages 4–6 (Spring/Summer) | Ages 4–8 (Term-Time) 
A week of age-appropriate activities led by caring, qualified staff. Children explore early academics, creative arts, outdoor play, and enjoy a weekly excursion – building confidence, curiosity, and friendships in a supportive setting. 

MEGA Camp 

Ages 6–8 (Spring/Summer) | Ages 8–11 (Term-Time) 
Older children enjoy everything NANO offers, with extra enrichment tailored to their age. Highlights include more advanced activities and our exciting weekly MEGA Challenge – an optional experience designed to boost independence and teamwork (additional cost applies).

All camps are delivered in English, and children are gently encouraged to speak English throughout the day to help develop language skills in a natural, immersive way.

A Safe and Inspiring Setting for Holiday Childcare 

Situated just outside Wokingham in the scenic county of Berkshire – and within easy reach of London and Oxford – Reddam House offers the ideal setting for high-quality, adventure-filled holiday childcare. 

Set in a grand Victorian mansion surrounded by 125 acres of woodlands and parkland, our NANO and MEGA Camps give children the freedom to explore, create, and grow in a secure, enriching environment. 

Campers benefit from exceptional facilities, including:

Led by caring, experienced staff, each day is filled with structured, age-appropriate activities designed to support every child’s social, emotional, and physical development. Whether they’re painting, playing, or learning something new, children at Reddam House are immersed in a holiday experience that’s as memorable as it is meaningful – for them, and for parents too. 

 

How Our Holiday Childcare Works 

Our NANO and MEGA Camps offer engaging, age-appropriate childcare for children aged 4–11 during term-time holidays, and for ages 4–8 during our Spring and Summer seasons. Each week is designed around a fresh theme, keeping children excited, inspired, and eager to return. 

Camps run weekly with a supervised off-site excursion every Wednesday –giving children the chance to explore beyond the school grounds in a fun, safe, and enriching way. 

What to Expect: 

NANO Camp (4–6 years): 
Daily activities are thoughtfully tailored to each child’s age, stage, and interests. These may include: 
– Early Academic Skills: Literacy, numeracy, and STEAM exploration 
– Creative Arts: Craft, dance, drama, music, and movement 
– Outdoor Adventure: Nature play, sports, wilderness exploration, and RAD (Reddam Adventure Days) 

MEGA Camp (6–8 years): 
Includes all the NANO activities, with added opportunities for leadership, teamwork, and age-appropriate challenges that promote independence. 

Throughout the week, children are encouraged to communicate, collaborate, and play – building confidence, friendships, and language skills in a warm, English-speaking environment.

Our Spring and Summer NANO and MEGA Camps will run as one-week programmes open to students aged 4 – 8 years.  The NANO and MEGA Camp offers one-week bookings only and will include all on-site activities plus one weekly excursion.

Nano Camps
 

NANO Day Camp ages 4 to 5 years

The NANO Camp is an exciting, multi-activity programme that promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.  Our NANO Camp programme is a week-long course, and runs from 08.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.  Extended day options from 08.00am to 5.30pm are available.

From structured activities to play and exploration, our NANO Camp is packed with engaging activities designed to build vital foundational skills and encourage social interaction including:

  • Exploration and Discovery

The NANO Camp costs £330.00 per week to include all activities, excursion day and lunch each day.

Mega camps
 

MEGA CAMP for ages 6 to 8 years

Our multi-activity MEGA Day Camp is designed to promote physical, cognitive and social development.  The MEGA camp runs from Monday to Friday between 08.30am and 5pm, with extended day options from 08.00am to 5.30pm available.

Learners will enjoy complex activities and embark on a day of exciting off-site excursions – the perfect balance between fun and age-appropriate challenges.

Structured activities guide students through games and workshops that foster teamwork, communication and a sense of discovery:

  • Enhanced Skill Development
  • Adventure and Exploration
  • Social Interaction
  • Activity sessions include:  project-based crafts, themed workshops, physical adventure, outdoor challenges and academic studies including STEAM and literacy.

The MEGA Camp costs £375.00 per week to include all activities, excursion day and lunch each day, plus two additional MEGA Challenge Activities each week.

Camp Details

Term-time camps:  A daily drop in option charged at £50 per day with the option of adding the additional MEGA Challenge per week.  The excursion cost on Wednesday costs £20.00 extra.

Spring and Summer camps:  A weekly camp charged at £330.00 (NANO) or £375.00 (MEGA) for the week.  This is inclusive of all activities, challenges and excursions.

All NANO and MEGA campers will receive a lunch each day as well as mid-morning and mid-afternoon drinks and snacks.

We know the parents need flexibility in booking, so that is why we offer a daily drop in for term-time camps. During the Spring and Summer season it is week only bookings.

NANO and MEGA camps run from Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 17.00 (extended day options from 08.00 – 17.30).

Childcare Programme

Safe, Supervised Excursions

Each week at NANO and MEGA Camp includes a fully supervised off-site excursion, carefully selected to match the camp’s weekly theme and tailored to suit the age and interests of our young campers. 

These outings are often the highlight of the week – offering hands-on discovery, fresh environments, and opportunities to build confidence, curiosity, and communication skills. Children remain under the care of our experienced team throughout, ensuring a safe, structured, and enriching experience. 

Recent themed excursions have included: 

  • An Under the Sea visit to the SEA LIFE Centre in Brighton 
  • A Make Believe day at KidZania London, where children explore real-world careers through imaginative play 
  • A Discover and Explore adventure at the Windsor Great Park Adventure Play Gardens 

Every trip adds depth and excitement to the week – making each camp experience even more memorable.
