Reddam House Berkshire        Exam Results 2016

As many of you will know, we had some really exciting news with our A level and GCSE results. Having set ourselves quite demanding targets at the start of our first year, the students and staff ensured that we did considerably better than we had expected.

  • In the A levels, the percentage of grades at A*-B rose to 65% with over 90% of the grades at C or better. This was a fantastic performance with 8  students gaining at least 360 UCAS points (the equivalent of 3 A grades) and a highest individual score of 500 UCAS points. Overall, the average point score per candidate was 332 (ABB).
  • The Telegraph, Sat 30th Aug, published results from many of the independent schools and it became obvious that, after our first year, we had jumped ahead of some of our local rivals.
  • The GCSE results were also excellent. The results showed the true benefits of the cycle testing system and the two mock exams. 34% of the total grades were at A*/A, with 64% A*-B and 92% A*-C. In the government figure of % A*-C grades, including English and Maths, we reached 77% - a very impressive improvement.

Daniel gained 8 A*s, 1 A and 1B grade in this year's GCSEs.
